Sammie is a born and bred Swansea girl. After leaving her hometown to pursue acting at Rose Bruford College of theatre and Performance, Sammie wants to spread the joy and love she has for the Swansea accent with other actors.

Sammie was unreal!! I was so nervous to attempt a Welsh accent as it was something I’d never done before and felt very out of my comfort zone. With Sammie’s help I was able to confidently identify and isolate key sounds and apply them to the text. She sent a selection of in depth recordings of the text so that I could listen and repeat which was a massive help in finding the intonation and musicality of the script. With Sammie’s help I was able to relax into the accent and allow my acting to shine through instead of focusing on the sounds I was making. I wouldn’t have been able to do this audition without her help and guidance!!
