Such a great session with Wilson! The Belfast accent is a hard one for me but he broke it down so well that I’m finally starting to understand it. He was very informative, had great ideas and gently guided me through the session. Ill be booking again soon 🙂

I cannot give enough praise to Wilson. After being cast for a role requiring a Northern Irish accent very quickly with only two weeks until my first day on set, I was super nervous and intimidated to start my first session. But Wilson very quickly put me at ease and guided me through the basic foundations of the accent, and two weeks later he’s helped me SO much in nailing it! I feel confident and natural in my delivery, and it’s all thanks to Wilson’s unique and tailored approach to coaching. I felt no judgement, no intimidation and just pure positivity and encouragement throughout.

He is an absolute expert in providing you with the tools you need to both understand the origins of and deliver the accent naturally and in a plethora of ranges.

I cannot recommend and thank Wilson enough- if you need help with your Northern Irish accent or like me you’re a total beginner, book a session with Wilson and you will keep rebooking like I did!

    Thank you Wilson! 🙂

Wilson is a pro and very good to work with. He used our time well and covered a lot of ground efficiently. I appreciated the resources he shared following our session. I was also grateful for his availability on very short notice. Would definitely book again.

I was thrilled to discover Twang while looking for someone to help me learn a Belfast accent for an audition, and I couldn’t have found a more helpful teacher! Aside from being very knowledgable, Wilson was so patient and encouraging. The idea of butchering someone’s native accent in front of them makes me pretty anxious, but he created a friendly and enjoyable atmosphere.

I would recommend working with Wilson if you have no clue how to do a Belfast accent, but also if you have already strong foundation but want to make your accent more detailed, or specific to a particular locality/time period/character. He was able to quickly and effectively adapt his approach to suit my own native accent (and the sounds I struggle with as a result), as well as the background of the character I was auditioning for.

Thanks to Wilson’s help, I received a callback (in a group audition where most of the other actors were from Belfast!) Whether I book the role or not, I look forward to continuing to work on this accent with Wilson and recommend anyone interested to book a session!
