John has been working in professional and academic theatre for over 25 years. In addition to freelance work as an actor, director, and coach, he has served as professor and/or program chair at Lindenwood University, Principia College, and the University of Wyoming. He has worked as an actor and director for numerous regional theatre companies including two seasons as a member of the resident acting company at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. John took advantage of holding dual Irish/American citizenship and relocated to Dublin in January of 2023.
